The following are a selection of ESDGC related organisations who were involved with ESDGC projects who exhibited at the South East Wales ESDGC Conference in March 2006.

Cyfanfyd is a national membership organization working to promote education for sustainable development and global citizenship in Wales. We support organizations working in all fields of education helping them to incorporate a global dimension into their work. As the development education association for Wales our aim is the creation of a confident and outward looking Wales in which all have an understanding of their rights and responsibilities as global citizens. We provide a range of support services and also act as a representative lobbying organization to ensure that global learning remains a priority for government organizations in Wales.

Eco-Schools is an international programme aimed at making environmental awareness and action an intrinsic part of the life and ethos of the whole school community. Keep Wales Tidy administer Eco-Schools in Wales.

The Wildlife Trust works locally to make Gwent Richer in wildlife. It manages, influences decision-making and champions the natural environment’s contribution to everyone’s well-being.

The Trust has a growing Education Department. It provides a range of educational opportunities for schools, their pupils and staffs. For further details pleas contact the Trust.

The fundamental objectives of RSPB teaching are;
To provide inspirational lifelong learning experiences, which enthuse young people, about the wonders of the natural world and birds in particular. Through making this connection to the environment young people can develop an understanding of the importance of biodiversity and sustainability. . We want young people to understand that their actions and decisions affect the environment and commit themselves to more sustainable lifestyle choices.

Ogmore Centre Trust

The Ogmore Centre is a residential education centre situated in the heart of the heritage coastline. The trust was formed in order to provide a valuable residential experience for the children of South East Wales.

Services for schools :
- Core curriculum courses through the medium of both English and Welsh
- Sports courses in conjunction with professional coaches and UWIC
- Drama, dance and music courses
- Outdoor pursuit courses
- Geography and environmental studies courses
- Accommodation for self programming courses
- Tailor written courses
All of the above can be offered as either residential or day courses
